Manchester United defender Luke Shaw has donated £15,000 to a fund raiser for Luke Jobson, following his tragic death.

Police search teams found Luke’s body on Monday after the 22-year-old failed to return from a night out in Yarm on Friday.

A GoFundMe page was set up with an initial target of £2,000, but more than £60,000 has been raised in just two days, with Shaw adding to this total.

A minute’s applause during the 22nd minute at Middlesbrough’s next match against Leeds has since been organised, with Boro goalkeeper Dimi Konstantopoulos calling on fans of the club to get involved on Saturday.

Six teenagers have been arrested by Cleveland Police on suspicion of manslaughter in connection with Luke’s death.
